Fences: Plastic Droppers and Poles

Polyfence supply plastic fencing material to Southern African Countries, like South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Namibia.

Since so many criminals are stealing the steel poles and droppers (y-poles / y-pole standard) in these countries, the plastic material is indespensible for game fences, perimeter fences or electric fences in this part of the world.

The benefits of the plastic droppers are:
  1. Non-conductive;
  2. Can be used without bobbins in electrical fences;
  3. Non-corrosive;
  4. No paint or anti-rust treatment needed;
  5. Easy to install;
  6. Cold and Hot weather resistant;
  7. High Melting Point;
  8. High Burning Point;
  9. Insects cannot damage it;
  10. Cannot get rotten;
  11. No value to thieves;
  12. Flexible, yet sturdy enough to ensure your fence remain upright;
  13. Ultra Violet Resistant;
  14. Chemicals won't damage it;

Why hollow inside and not solid?
Hollow droppers are more rigid. Cool air flows from opening below in the channels regulating the temperature fluctuations which slows down temperature build-up in the material and make them more fire resistant.
Solid droppers hold sun heat which make the material soft and become a strain on the fence.

These plastic droppers can be manufactured in the following lengths:
  1. 1.0m
  2. 1.2m
  3. 1.4m
  4. 1.5m
  5. 1.8m
  6. 2.0m
  7. 2.4m
  8. 3.0m
